The castle of  Montsegur

The castle of Montségur (Montsegur in Occitan), built in 1206, is a castle called "Cathar". Indeed, this castle was implanted in the flattened site of the old fortified village which constituted, until the seat of 1244, the place of resistance of the Cathars and faydits.
