The City of Carcassonne
Located on the right bank of the Aude, the Medieval World Heritage City has 52 towers and 2 concentric speakers that total 3 kilometers of ramparts. This district of Carcassonne, is free of access. It is still inhabited today and is home to about 120 inhabitants, as well as a large number of traders and artisans. Its history is marked by 2000 years of conquests, by the imprint of Catharism and Crusades
